WILLIAM CROZIER: Graphic Work 1962 - 2011

William Crozier 'Kilcoe Strand', from the 'Peninsula' portfolio of 6 intaglio prints, published by Stoney Road Press 2011

To celebrate its 50thanniversary, the Lavit Gallery has landed a coup in its exhibition "William Crozier: Graphic Work 1962 - 2011", the first ever survey of Crozier's prints.

Though best known as a painter, Crozier possessed a keen interest in printmaking throughout his working life. The Lavit exhibition includes rare monoprints and etchings from the early 1960s and reviews his later collaborations with the Graphic Studio Dublin and the Stoney Road Press from the 1990s, which culminated in the 2011 'Peninsula' with Seamus Heaney, a portfolio of prints inspired by the Irish landscape.
