Member's Annual Exhibition


The 2012 Member's Annual Exhibition will run from Tuesday 21^st February to Saturday 3rd March.

Submission dates are Tuesday17th & Wednesday 18th January 2012,between the hours of 10.30am and 5.30pm.No work can be accepted after these dates as selection will happen immediately afterwards.

Each member can submit up to three pieces, these must be for sale and the gallery will take a  reduced commission of 20% on all sales.

As usual the selection will be made by an external panel. Members will be notified of the selector's decision as soon as possible.

Only work by paid up members can be considered. (See below for details on becoming a member)

Before you submit your work we would ask you to print and fill in the entry from and place a label on the back of each piece with the following information:artist's name, title of work, medium, dimensions & selling price. 

Finally on behalf of the Board and staff of the gallery we would like to wish you good luck with your submission.

The subscriptions of members constitutes a major element of our funding. By becoming a member of The Lavit Gallery you are helping to ensure that this long established venue is enabled to continue to provide exhibition space for established and emerging artists.

As a member you will be sent an email invitation, inviting you to all Exhibition Opening Nights and any other functions the Gallery may undertake on behalf of its membership.

Members will receive a 10% discount off purchases during 2011.

As a member you will be able to submit up to three pieces of artwork to be considered for inclusion in the Annual Members Exhibition.

Your subscription helps us to sponsor the Student of the Year Award and makes a valuable contribution to our exhibition programme each year.

You will be supporting the arts in Ireland, and more particularly in Cork, playing no small part in contributing to the city's vibrant arts and cultural scene.
